Facet Friday: What You Declined This Week
Your standards are visible not in what you accepted, but in what you were willing to release.

We review our weeks by what we completed. Rarely by what we refused.
Yet the refusals are where standards live. They are the clearest record of what you are protecting.
Make a short list
Write down what you declined this week — an invitation, a request, a habit, an argument.
Beside each one, write what it protected: your time, your health, your focus, your peace.
Notice what you accepted anyway
There is likely one yes on the list that was habit rather than choice. Name it without shame.
Next week, it becomes your practice ground. One honest no is enough to shift a pattern.
Close the week with your boundaries in view. They are doing more for you than your to-do list.
