By the time you are trusted, the hardest choices are no longer between good and bad. They are between good and good.
Discernment is the final pillar because it protects the other five. Expansion requires the courage to decline.
Not every open door is your door
An opportunity can be genuinely excellent and still belong to someone else, or to a later season of your life.
Test it against your direction rather than against your flattery. Ask what it would displace, not only what it would add.
Release with respect
A clear no, offered early and kindly, is more generous than a reluctant yes delivered late.
Discernment is not withdrawal. It is the concentration of your energy where it can actually do its work.
Identify one good thing you are carrying that is no longer yours to carry. Release it, and notice what your next level does with the space.
